M Motionworks Population Intelligence

The measurement stack for how the world moves.

Six products, one platform. From the neighborhoods an audience lives in to the formats that reach them, each step in the measurement chain inherits the same population layer — and every number ships with receipts.

The chain

One question at every step. The same population layer underneath.

OOH measurement only works if the parts fit together. Most of the industry stitches different vendors at every stage. Motionworks ships the chain end to end — population, paths, profiles, post-campaign delivery, and content attribution — on a single backbone.

01

Popcast — which neighborhoods?

Hour-by-hour residency and time-of-day patterns at the block-group level. 800+ cohorts and 375+ standard segments. Find where your audience lives, sleeps, works, and moves.

02

Pathcast — which road segments?

Hourly vehicle and pedestrian counts on 1.2M+ road segments, with viewshed-precise geometry per face. The connective tissue between where people live and the surfaces that can reach them.

03

Viewcast Profiles — which formats yield?

Monthly historical Circulation, OTS, and LTS for 1.4M+ spots across 210 DMAs, back to 2019. Forward-planning impressions per face, by audience and daypart, with confidence intervals on every value.

04

Viewcast Select — what did the campaign deliver?

Deduplicated reach and frequency on the executed schedule, cross-format. Not a planning number — an as-run number, with the same provenance fields as everything else in the stack.

05

OOH Content Measurement — what were they watching?

Viewcast measures who is in the venue. OOH Content Measurement adds the content layer: what those audiences were watching, how engagement varied by daypart and timezone, and how venue type shaped viewership behavior. Cross-media exposure — OOH audiences connected to TV schedules — with the same provenance fields as the rest of the stack.

Every number shows its work

Auditable measurement, not just measurement.

Each Motionworks API response carries a meta envelope alongside the data. Source, methodology version, confidence interval, sample size, and freshness — on every number, every endpoint, every product. That's the difference between a metric and a receipt.

A receipt is five fields:
Source
Where the data came from — device panel, viewshed geometry, place visit log, traffic counter.
Methodology version
Which model produced the number, and which version of it. Versioned in the changelog.
Confidence interval
Margin of error at a stated confidence level — so the number can be defended in a room.
Sample size
How many observations underpin the metric. The denominator behind the headline.
Freshness
When the underlying data was last refreshed. So no one ships a quarter-old number by accident.
