Independence

A measurement layer is only useful if the people relying on it can trust its incentives. Motionworks is structurally independent — by design, and on the record.

The statement

What independence means at Motionworks.

Motionworks operates independently of OOH operators and buying platforms. That independence is a governance signal for bureaus and regulators, and a structural constraint on how we are owned, financed, and run.

No operator ownership

Motionworks is not owned, controlled, or funded by an OOH operator. We have no equity holders that benefit from skewed inventory measurement.

No buying-platform relationships

Motionworks has no financial relationship with OOH buying platforms. We do not earn fees or commissions on media bought against our measurement.

Third-party audits

Methodology is open to third-party review. Bureaus, agencies, and regulators can audit any metric chain end-to-end.

Documented governance

Every change in scope, ownership, or commercial relationship is disclosed. The methodology changelog tracks the substance.

Why it matters

Currency requires structural conditions.

OOH measurement only works as a currency if the measurement layer cannot be tilted. Independence is the structural condition that makes the rest of the methodology defensible.

For bureaus

A reference layer with auditable governance.

For agencies

Numbers you can defend without conflict-of-interest risk.

For brands

A measurement supplier with no incentive to inflate.

For regulators

A documented governance chain.
